Haunted Elsinore

Spooky places in Lake Elsinore!

This is from the list of haunted places at Shadowlands.

1. The old Country Club (Now burned down)














My family and I explored this building several times when it was still standing. It was still beautiful even though abandoned for many years. The main hall that over looked the lake remained cool even in the hot summer, and the views were spectacular!

Unfortunately the whole place went up in flames a few years back and now all that is left are a few brick walls, the gazebo, and supposedly quite a few restless spirits.

It is located right off of Lakeshore drive in Lake Elsinore and is definitely worth a visit.

2. The Chimes














I have been to the Chimes many times over the years, and I really do think it might be genuinely haunted! It is nowhere near as creepy looking as it was before the remodel, but it still has that "being watched" feeling to it. Especially the back area. Oh, and the current owners are absolutely delightful!

3. Hotel on Main St.










Very interesting building! Apparently many people have heard screaming coming from the building at around 1am on saturday nights. Personally I have never heard these screams, and for that I am very thankful!
